horizont night shift vintage 2024 imperial milk porter aged in pedro ximenez rum barrels with sour cherry poppy seed Spanish Marie Brewery Cinnamon and VanillaWhen designing the first Imperial Milk Porter, we knew we wanted to create something very special, which we also envisioned as a fruity Night Shift batch. The condensed base beer was transferred to freshly emptied Pedro Ximnez Sherry and rum barrels for 6 months, allowing the woody notes of the barrel to enhance the base beer's cherry, poppyseed, and subtly milky chocolate flavor profile, creating this truly pastry like, full bodied batch.
